A bag holds 9 counters, r of them red. Two are taken without replacement and P(both red) = 5/12. Work out r.

A histogram has four 10-wide classes from 0, with frequency densities 2, 3, 1, 0.5. Which class contains the median?
- 5Bounds3 marks
x = 78 and y = 61, each correct to the nearest whole number. Work out the upper bound of x - y.
