A histogram has two bars: one 20 units wide with frequency density 2, one 10 units wide with density 3. How many values in total?

x = 113 and y = 33, each correct to the nearest whole number. Work out the upper bound of x - y.
- 3Iteration3 marks
Use the iteration x(n+1) = cube root of (7x(n) + 2) with x(0) = 2. Work out x(1) to 3 decimal places.
- 4Velocity Time Graphs2 marks
On a velocity-time graph a car speeds up in a straight line from 0 m/s to 24 m/s over 8 seconds. Work out the acceleration.
- 5Perpendicular Lines and the equation of a tangent3 marks
The point (7, 24) lies on the circle x^2 + y^2 = 625. Work out the gradient of the tangent to the circle at that point.
