- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 10 units wide with frequency density 2.5, one 5 units wide with density 0.6. How many values in total?
- 2Surds3 marks
Simplify sqrt(50) + sqrt(2), giving your answer in the form a sqrt(b).
- 3Inverse and Composite Functions3 marks
f(x) = 7x - 2. Work out the inverse function f^-1(x).
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 4, y = 32. Work out the positive value of x when y = 72.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that opposite angles of a cyclic quadrilateral are being proved. State the reason being quoted.
