A quadratic sequence starts 19, 39, 69, 109. Work out the second difference, and the coefficient of n^2.
- 3Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to sqrt(x). When x = 4, y = 12. Work out y when x = 36.
- 4Finding the Area of Any Triangle3 marks
A triangle has sides of 9 cm and 11 cm and an area of 35.00 cm^2. Work out the acute angle between those two sides, to the nearest degree.
- 5Probability Equation Questions3 marks
A bag holds 11 counters, r of them red. Two are taken without replacement and P(both red) = 3/55. Work out r.
