- 1Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that the three angles of triangle OAB are being summed. State the reason being quoted.
- 2Probability Equation Questions3 marks
A bag holds 8 counters, r of them red. Two are taken without replacement and P(both red) = 3/28. Work out r.
- 3Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 20 units wide with frequency density 2.5, one 20 units wide with density 0.8. How many values in total?
- 4Bounds3 marks
A rectangle is 29 cm by 24 cm, each correct to the nearest cm. Work out the upper bound of its area.
- 5Inverse and Composite Functions3 marks
f(x) = 5x + 5 and g(x) = 4x - 3. Work out fg(3).
