f(x) = 5x + 8 and g(x) = 6x + 7. Work out fg(6).
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 3, y = 45. Work out the positive value of x when y = 45.
- 53d Pythagoras and Trigonometry3 marks
A cuboid measures 8 cm by 4 cm by 7 cm tall. Work out the angle between its longest internal diagonal and the base, to 1 decimal place.
