- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 20 units wide with frequency density 0.4, one 25 units wide with density 3. How many values in total?
- 2Bounds3 marks
x = 33 and y = 13, each correct to the nearest whole number. Work out the upper bound of x - y.
- 3Completing the Square3 marks
Work out the coordinates of the turning point of y = x^2 - 8x - 9.
- 4Velocity Time Graphs2 marks
On a velocity-time graph a car speeds up in a straight line from 2 m/s to 17 m/s over 10 seconds. Work out the acceleration.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that the angle in a semicircle is being proved. State the reason being quoted.
