- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 20 units wide with frequency density 1.2, one 25 units wide with density 3. How many values in total?
- 2Surds3 marks
Simplify sqrt(32) + sqrt(18), giving your answer in the form a sqrt(b).
- 3Transforming Graphs y=f(x)3 marks
The point (6, 0) lies on y = f(x). Write down its image on y = -f(x).
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 6, y = 108. Work out the positive value of x when y = 147.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that the exterior angle of a cyclic quadrilateral is being found. State the reason being quoted.
