A quadratic sequence starts 11, 27, 51, 83. Work out the second difference, and the coefficient of n^2.
- 3Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is inversely proportional to x^2. When x = 3, y = 48. Work out y when x = 4.
- 4Finding the Area of Any Triangle3 marks
A triangle has sides of 14 cm and 12 cm and an area of 84.00 cm^2. Work out the acute angle between those two sides, to the nearest degree.
- 5Probability Equation Questions3 marks
A bag holds 11 counters, r of them red. Two are taken without replacement and P(both red) = 6/55. Work out r.
