- 1Bounds3 marks
A block has mass 390 g (to the nearest 10 g) and volume 13 cm^3 (to the nearest cm^3). Work out the upper bound of its density, to 2 decimal places.
- 2Proof2 marks
In an algebraic proof, how would you write the square of an odd number in terms of an integer n?
- 3Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^3. When x = 2, y = 48. Work out y when x = 5.
- 4Finding the Area of Any Triangle3 marks
A triangle has sides of 14 cm and 15 cm and an area of 105.00 cm^2. Work out the acute angle between those two sides, to the nearest degree.
- 5Probability Equation Questions3 marks
A bag holds 11 counters, r of them red. Two are taken without replacement and P(both red) = 28/55. Work out r.
