Expand and simplify (5 + sqrt(2))(5 - sqrt(2)).

Use the iteration x(n+1) = cube root of (12x(n) + 7) with x(0) = 2. Work out x(1) to 3 decimal places.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is inversely proportional to x^2. When x = 3, y = 36. Work out y when x = 6.
