y is directly proportional to sqrt(x). When x = 9, y = 15. Work out y when x = 49.
- 4The Cosine Rule3 marks
A triangle has sides 12 cm, 14 cm and 12 cm. Work out the angle opposite the 12 cm side, to 1 decimal place.
- 5Probability Equation Questions3 marks
A bag holds 2 red and n blue counters. The probability of taking a red is 2/5. Work out n.
