- 1Histograms2 marks
On a histogram, a 10-wide bar and a 20-wide bar have the same frequency density of 3. How many more values are in the wider class?
- 2Bounds3 marks
A block has mass 590 g (to the nearest 10 g) and volume 10 cm^3 (to the nearest cm^3). Work out the upper bound of its density, to 2 decimal places.
- 3Proof3 marks
Prove that the sum of 6 consecutive integers is always a multiple of 3. State the simplified sum you would use.
- 4Velocity Time Graphs3 marks
A tram runs at 10 m/s for 10 s, then slows steadily to rest over 6 s. Work out its average speed for the whole journey, to 2 decimal places.
- 5Vectors Proof Questions3 marks
In a vector proof you find that vector PQ = a + 4b and vector RS = 4a + 16b. What does this show about PQ and RS?
