- 3The Nth Term of a Quadratic Sequence3 marks
Work out the nth term of the quadratic sequence 1, 7, 17, 31, ...
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 3, y = 36. Work out the positive value of x when y = 324.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that a tangent meets a radius at the point of contact. State the reason being quoted.
