Use the iteration x(n+1) = cube root of (10x(n) + 6) with x(0) = 2. Work out x(1) to 3 decimal places.

On a velocity-time graph a car speeds up in a straight line from 2 m/s to 17 m/s over 10 seconds. Work out the acceleration.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that the angle in a semicircle is being proved. State the reason being quoted.
