- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 5 units wide with frequency density 1.2, one 10 units wide with density 0.8. How many values in total?
- 2Bounds3 marks
x = 101 and y = 80, each correct to the nearest whole number. Work out the upper bound of x - y.
- 3Transforming Graphs y=f(x)3 marks
The point (-5, 5) lies on y = f(x). Write down its image on y = f(x) - 2.
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 2, y = 12. Work out the positive value of x when y = 27.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that the alternate segment theorem is being proved. State the reason being quoted.
