A block has volume 40 cm^3 and density 4 g/cm^3. Work out its mass.

A triangle has sides of 5 cm and 10 cm with an angle of 142° between them. Work out its area, to 1 decimal place.
- 3Probability Trees3 marks
2 of 8 bulbs in a box are faulty. Two are taken with replacement. Work out the probability at least one is faulty.
- 4Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 5, 3, 7, 3. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
- 5Surds2 marks
Write sqrt(8) in the form a sqrt(b), where b is as small as possible.
