y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 3, y = 72. Work out y when x = 8.

Two similar shapes have lengths in the ratio 1 : 4. The smaller has an area of 23 cm^2. Work out the area of the larger.
- 3Conditional Probability3 marks
21 students study Spanish and 5 of those also study Art. One Spanish student is picked at random. Work out the probability they study Art.
- 4Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has minimum 3, lower quartile 11, median 16, upper quartile 21 and maximum 23. Work out the interquartile range.
- 5Fractional and Negative Indices2 marks
Write 3^-1 as a fraction.
