A box plot has a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 63. Work out the range.
- 2Surds2 marks
Write sqrt(45) in the form a sqrt(b), where b is as small as possible.
- 3Parallel and Perpendicular Lines3 marks
A line has equation y = 3x + 9. Work out the gradient of any line perpendicular to it.
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion3 marks
y is inversely proportional to x. When x = 8, y = 10. Work out y when x = 10.
- 5Enlarging with Negative Scale Factors3 marks
