- 1Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has minimum 9, lower quartile 15, median 21, upper quartile 31 and maximum 35. Work out the interquartile range.
- 2Standard Form3 marks
Work out (56 x 10^11) / (8 x 10^3). Give your answer in standard form.
- 3Parallel and Perpendicular Lines3 marks
A line has equation y = -2x + 8. Work out the gradient of any line perpendicular to it.
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 5, y = 175. Work out y when x = 4.
- 5Enlarging with Negative Scale Factors3 marks
The point (-6, 0) is enlarged by scale factor -1 about the centre (1, -4). Write down the coordinates of the image.
