Two similar solids have lengths in the ratio 1 : 3. The larger has a volume of 702 cm^3. Work out the volume of the smaller.

A bag holds 5 red and 7 blue counters. Two are taken without replacement. Work out the probability both are red.

A capture-recapture estimate is made of the moth population of a meadow. State one assumption the method relies on.

A mass is 380 kg, correct to the nearest 10. Write down the upper bound.
- 5Drawing Other Graphs: Cubic/Reciprocal2 marks
For the curve y = -2/x, work out y when x = -2, and write down the equation of its vertical asymptote.
