- 1Parallel and Perpendicular Lines3 marks
Work out the equation of the line parallel to y = -3x + 9 that passes through (2, -9).
- 2Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 2, y = 32. Work out y when x = 4.
- 3SOHCAHTOA (Trigonometry)3 marks
A right-angled triangle has sides 10 cm, 24 cm and 26 cm. Work out the angle opposite the 10 cm side, to 1 decimal place.
- 4Probability Trees3 marks
A bag holds 7 red and 4 blue counters. Two are taken without replacement. Work out the probability both are red.
