A capture-recapture estimate is made of the ladybird population of a garden. State one assumption the method relies on.

A mass is 27.5 kg, correct to 1 decimal place. Write down the lower bound.
- 3Parallel and Perpendicular Lines3 marks
Work out the equation of the line parallel to y = x + 5 that passes through (1, -5).
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion3 marks
y is directly proportional to x. When x = 5, y = 10. Work out y when x = 13.
- 5SOHCAHTOA (Trigonometry)3 marks
A right-angled triangle has sides 12 cm, 16 cm and 20 cm. Work out the angle opposite the 12 cm side, to 1 decimal place.
