- 1Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has minimum 2, lower quartile 9, median 12, upper quartile 20 and maximum 28. Work out the interquartile range.
- 2Fractional and Negative Indices3 marks
Work out 216^(2/3).
- 3Parallel and Perpendicular Lines3 marks
A line has equation y = 5x + 9. Work out the gradient of any line perpendicular to it.
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 6, y = 144. Work out y when x = 4.
- 5Enlarging with Negative Scale Factors3 marks
The point (-6, 5) is enlarged by scale factor -1 about the centre (3, -3). Write down the coordinates of the image.
