- 1Circle Theorems2 marks
A, B and C are points on a circle with centre O. Angle AOC is 42°. Work out angle ABC, where B is on the major arc.
- 2Venn Diagrams3 marks
In a Venn diagram, 15 are in A only, 5 in B only, 6 in both and 5 in neither. Work out the probability a random one is in both.
- 3Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 9, 10, 5, 7. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
- 4Surds2 marks
Write sqrt(20) in the form a sqrt(b), where b is as small as possible.
- 5Expanding and Factorising Quadratics2 marks
Factorise x^2 - 25.
