- 1Spheres and Cones3 marks
A cone has base radius 7 cm and vertical height 6 cm. Work out its volume, leaving your answer in terms of pi.
- 2Probability Trees3 marks
A bag holds 6 red and 5 blue counters. Two are taken without replacement. Work out the probability both are red.
- 3Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has minimum 6, lower quartile 11, median 14, upper quartile 17 and maximum 26. Work out the interquartile range.
- 4Fractional and Negative Indices2 marks
Write 4^-2 as a fraction.
- 5Inequalities on Graphs2 marks
A region is defined by y <= -5x + 2. Should the boundary line be solid or dashed, and why?
