Two similar shapes have lengths in the ratio 1 : 5. The smaller has an area of 4 cm^2. Work out the area of the larger.
- 3Conditional Probability3 marks
13 students study Spanish and 3 of those also study Art. One Spanish student is picked at random. Work out the probability they study Art.
- 4Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 5, 11, 8, 3. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
- 5Fractional and Negative Indices3 marks
Work out 125^(2/3).
