A box plot has minimum 15, lower quartile 21, median 23, upper quartile 32 and maximum 36. Work out the interquartile range.
- 3Recurring Decimals to Fractions3 marks
Write the recurring decimal 0.7373... as a fraction in its simplest form.
- 4Quadratic Formula3 marks
Use the quadratic formula to solve x^2 - 11x - 9 = 0, to 2 decimal places.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 2, y = 12. Work out y when x = 7.
