A town's population is 30000 and grows by 4% each year. Work out the population after 3 years, to the nearest whole number.

A sector of a circle has radius 6 cm and angle 30°. Work out its area, to 1 decimal place.
- 3Conditional Probability3 marks
18 students study Spanish and 12 of those also study Art. One Spanish student is picked at random. Work out the probability they study Art.
- 4Histograms2 marks
A histogram class is 10 units wide and contains 5 values. Work out the frequency density.
- 5Surds2 marks
Write sqrt(45) in the form a sqrt(b), where b is as small as possible.
