A code is 3 letters (A to Z) followed by 4 digits (0 to 9), and repeats are allowed. How many codes are possible?

For the curve y = x^2 + 2x - 12, work out y when x = 1.
- 3Direct and Inverse Proportion3 marks
y is directly proportional to x. When x = 2, y = 14. Work out y when x = 7.
- 4Sector Areas and Arc Lengths3 marks
A sector of a circle has radius 12 cm and angle 300°. Work out its area, to 1 decimal place.
- 5Conditional Probability3 marks
25 students study Spanish and 12 of those also study Art. One Spanish student is picked at random. Work out the probability they study Art.
