A right-angled triangle has sides 7 cm, 24 cm and 25 cm. Work out the angle opposite the 7 cm side, to 1 decimal place.

A bag holds 3 red and 8 blue counters. Two are taken without replacement. Work out the probability both are red.

A box plot has minimum 7, lower quartile 9, median 11, upper quartile 13 and maximum 18. Work out the interquartile range.
- 4Bounds2 marks
A mass is 40 kg, correct to the nearest 10. Write down the upper bound.
- 5Parallel and Perpendicular Lines3 marks
Work out the equation of the line parallel to y = -3x + 1 that passes through (6, -9).
