A right-angled triangle has sides 8 cm, 15 cm and 17 cm. Work out the angle opposite the 8 cm side, to 1 decimal place.

A bag holds 10 red and 2 blue counters. Two are taken without replacement. Work out the probability both are red.
- 3Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 6, 5, 8, 9. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
- 4Standard Form2 marks
Work out (7 x 10^6) x (3 x 10^5). Give your answer in standard form.
- 5Parallel and Perpendicular Lines3 marks
Work out the equation of the line parallel to y = 2x + 5 that passes through (1, 7).
