Two similar solids have lengths in the ratio 1 : 2. The larger has a volume of 240 cm^3. Work out the volume of the smaller.
- 2Probability Trees3 marks
A bag holds 4 red and 6 blue counters. Two are taken without replacement. Work out the probability both are red.
- 3Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 12, 5, 3, 6. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
- 4Bounds2 marks
A mass is 19 kg, correct to 1 decimal place. Write down the lower bound.
- 5Drawing Other Graphs: Cubic/Reciprocal2 marks
For the curve y = 10/x, work out y when x = 1, and write down the equation of its vertical asymptote.
