A code is 2 letters (A to Z) followed by 2 digits (0 to 9), and repeats are allowed. How many codes are possible?
- 3Parallel and Perpendicular Lines3 marks
A line has equation y = 5x + 2. Work out the gradient of any line perpendicular to it.
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion3 marks
y is inversely proportional to x. When x = 4, y = 10. Work out y when x = 5.
- 5Enlarging with Negative Scale Factors3 marks
The point (2, 0) is enlarged by scale factor -2 about the centre (3, 0). Write down the coordinates of the image.
