- 1Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has minimum 3, lower quartile 9, median 19, upper quartile 26 and maximum 31. Work out the interquartile range.
- 2Standard Form2 marks
Work out (3 x 10^5) x (4 x 10^-3). Give your answer in standard form.
- 3Parallel and Perpendicular Lines3 marks
A line has equation y = 4x + 5. Work out the gradient of any line perpendicular to it.
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 6, y = 180. Work out y when x = 4.
- 5Enlarging with Negative Scale Factors3 marks
The point (4, 3) is enlarged by scale factor -3 about the centre (-1, -1). Write down the coordinates of the image.
