A line has equation y = -2x + 6. Work out the gradient of any line perpendicular to it.

y is directly proportional to x. When x = 2, y = 14. Work out y when x = 8.
- 5Enlarging with Negative Scale Factors3 marks
The point (6, 2) is enlarged by scale factor -2 about the centre (-2, 1). Write down the coordinates of the image.
