A box plot has minimum 14, lower quartile 23, median 32, upper quartile 42 and maximum 48. Work out the interquartile range.
- 3Recurring Decimals to Fractions3 marks
Write the recurring decimal 0.111... as a fraction in its simplest form.
- 4Quadratic Formula3 marks
Use the quadratic formula to solve 4x^2 - 8x - 4 = 0, to 2 decimal places.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 2, y = 32. Work out y when x = 4.
