A box plot has a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 36. Work out the range.
- 2Recurring Decimals to Fractions3 marks
Write the recurring decimal 0.333... as a fraction in its simplest form.
- 3Parallel and Perpendicular Lines3 marks
A line has equation y = -3x + 9. Work out the gradient of any line perpendicular to it.
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion3 marks
y is inversely proportional to x. When x = 3, y = 12. Work out y when x = 2.
- 5Enlarging with Negative Scale Factors3 marks
The point (3, 6) is enlarged by scale factor -1 about the centre (1, 4). Write down the coordinates of the image.
