A triangle has sides of 18 cm and 8 cm with an angle of 32° between them. Work out its area, to 1 decimal place.
- 3Probability Trees3 marks
2 of 8 bulbs in a box are faulty. Two are taken with replacement. Work out the probability at least one is faulty.
- 4Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 8, 8, 8, 6. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
- 5Surds2 marks
Write sqrt(50) in the form a sqrt(b), where b is as small as possible.
