A box plot has minimum 12, lower quartile 15, median 24, upper quartile 29 and maximum 35. Work out the interquartile range.
- 2Bounds2 marks
A mass is 75 kg, correct to the nearest whole number. Write down the upper bound.
- 3Parallel and Perpendicular Lines3 marks
Work out the equation of the line parallel to y = 5x - 5 that passes through (6, 42).
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 6, y = 180. Work out y when x = 3.
- 5SOHCAHTOA (Trigonometry)3 marks
A right-angled triangle has sides 20 cm, 21 cm and 29 cm. Work out the angle opposite the 20 cm side, to 1 decimal place.
