A cone has base radius 4 cm and vertical height 9 cm. Work out its volume, leaving your answer in terms of pi.

A bag holds 3 red and 5 blue counters. Two are taken without replacement. Work out the probability both are red.

A box plot has minimum 1, lower quartile 11, median 18, upper quartile 26 and maximum 34. Work out the interquartile range.
- 4Recurring Decimals to Fractions3 marks
Write the recurring decimal 0.222... as a fraction in its simplest form.
- 5Inequalities on Graphs2 marks
A region is defined by y <= -3x - 6. Should the boundary line be solid or dashed, and why?
