Two similar shapes have lengths in the ratio 1 : 5. The smaller has an area of 8 cm^2. Work out the area of the larger.

17 students study Spanish and 12 of those also study Art. One Spanish student is picked at random. Work out the probability they study Art.
- 4Capture Recapture2 marks
A capture-recapture estimate is made of the newt population of a stream. State one assumption the method relies on.
- 5Bounds2 marks
A mass is 26 kg, correct to the nearest whole number. Write down the lower bound.
