A box plot has minimum 10, lower quartile 19, median 27, upper quartile 32 and maximum 34. Work out the interquartile range.
- 3Bounds2 marks
A mass is 51 kg, correct to the nearest whole number. Write down the lower bound.
- 4Quadratic Formula3 marks
Use the quadratic formula to solve 3x^2 - 8x - 12 = 0, to 2 decimal places.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 5, y = 175. Work out y when x = 7.
