In triangle ABC, angle A is 46°, angle B is 72° and side a is 16 cm. Use the sine rule to work out side b, to 1 decimal place.

In a Venn diagram, 16 are in A only, 17 in B only, 5 in both and 3 in neither. Work out the probability a random one is in both.

A cumulative frequency graph is drawn for 208 values. What cumulative frequency do you read across from to estimate the lower quartile?

Write sqrt(48) in the form a sqrt(b), where b is as small as possible.

Factorise x^2 - 10x + 21.
