A block has volume 160 cm^3 and density 2.5 g/cm^3. Work out its mass.
- 2Similar Shapes (Area and Volume)3 marks
Two similar shapes have lengths in the ratio 1 : 3. The smaller has an area of 11 cm^2. Work out the area of the larger.
- 3Conditional Probability3 marks
30 students study Spanish and 10 of those also study Art. One Spanish student is picked at random. Work out the probability they study Art.
- 4Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 4, 5, 10, 11. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
- 5Standard Form3 marks
Work out (16 x 10^10) / (4 x 10^5). Give your answer in standard form.
