- 1Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has minimum 5, lower quartile 10, median 15, upper quartile 23 and maximum 25. Work out the interquartile range.
- 2Fractional and Negative Indices3 marks
Work out 64^(2/3).
- 3Parallel and Perpendicular Lines3 marks
A line has equation y = -5x + 3. Work out the gradient of any line perpendicular to it.
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 6, y = 72. Work out y when x = 5.
- 5Enlarging with Negative Scale Factors3 marks
The point (-6, 2) is enlarged by scale factor -2 about the centre (-2, -1). Write down the coordinates of the image.
