A capture-recapture estimate is made of the snail population of a hedgerow. State one assumption the method relies on.
- 2The Product Rule for Counting3 marks
A code is 2 letters (A to Z) followed by 4 digits (0 to 9), and repeats are allowed. How many codes are possible?
- 3Parallel and Perpendicular Lines3 marks
A line has equation y = 4x + 2. Work out the gradient of any line perpendicular to it.
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion3 marks
y is directly proportional to x. When x = 5, y = 15. Work out y when x = 3.
- 5Enlarging with Negative Scale Factors3 marks
