A cone has base radius 5 cm and vertical height 15 cm. Work out its volume, leaving your answer in terms of pi.
- 2Probability Trees3 marks
A bag holds 4 red and 3 blue counters. Two are taken without replacement. Work out the probability both are red.
- 3Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has minimum 12, lower quartile 20, median 29, upper quartile 33 and maximum 42. Work out the interquartile range.
- 4Bounds2 marks
A mass is 440 kg, correct to the nearest 10. Write down the upper bound.
- 5Inequalities on Graphs2 marks
A region is defined by y < -x + 3. Should the boundary line be solid or dashed, and why?
