In triangle ABC, angle A is 31°, angle B is 98° and side a is 7 cm. Use the sine rule to work out side b, to 1 decimal place.

In a Venn diagram, 13 are in A only, 17 in B only, 5 in both and 9 in neither. Work out the probability a random one is in both.

55 beetles are marked and released. Later 15 are caught, of which 3 are marked. Estimate the population.

Write the recurring decimal 0.2626... as a fraction in its simplest form.
