A right-angled triangle has sides 10 cm, 24 cm and 26 cm. Work out the angle opposite the 10 cm side, to 1 decimal place.

A bag holds 4 red and 8 blue counters. Two are taken without replacement. Work out the probability both are red.
- 3Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has minimum 8, lower quartile 10, median 13, upper quartile 23 and maximum 31. Work out the interquartile range.
- 4Surds2 marks
Write sqrt(8) in the form a sqrt(b), where b is as small as possible.
- 5Parallel and Perpendicular Lines3 marks
Work out the equation of the line parallel to y = 3x + 4 that passes through (5, 23).
